2013中考英语词汇讲解旧词新义：run

　　run
        　　My brother has no idea how to run a business.
        　　I’m afraid the color will run if I wash your new skirt.
        　　The discussion between the teachers and the students has run for two hours.
        　　He has run short of money.
        　　run在教材中的意思为“跑；奔跑”，作动词用。
        　　上面句子中的四个run都用作动词，但是意思发生了变化，分别为“管理；经营”、“掉色，退色”、“持续”和“变得”。
