引起；招惹 The news gave us a shock.这消息使我们感到震惊。
生产；供给 Cows give milk.母牛产牛奶。
允许；使有 Give me a chance to try the job.给我一个机会来试一试这个工作。

传染；引起 Cows can give sickness to human beings.牛能把疾病传染给人类。
