2010年中考英语词汇旧词新义：run

　　run
　　My brother has no idea how to run a business.
　　I’m afraid the color will run if I wash your new skirt.
　　The discussion between the teachers and the students has run for two hours.
　　He has run short of money.
　　run在教材中的意思为“跑;奔跑”,作动词用。
　　上面句子中的四个run都用作动词,但是意思发生了变化,分别为“管理;经营”、“掉色,退色”、“持续”和“变得”。
