        　　1. To ask when a major event like the Olympics starts, you can say: 要问关于某个主要事件，比如像奥运会的情况，你可以说：What's the start date? /开幕日期是什么时候?What's the start date of the Olympics? /奥运会几月几日开幕?
        　　2. Notice how to give dates: 注意如何给出日期：The eighth of August. /8月8日。The eighth day of the eighth month. /8月的第八天。2008: Two thousand and eight.
        　　3. To explain why these dates are important, for example, because of the lucky number, you can say: 要解释为什么某些日期很重要，例如，因为它们是幸运数字的关系，你可以说：Eight is a very lucky number in China. 在中国8是一个幸运数字。

        　　2、If you want to say you agree with someone's opinion about something in the past, you can say 如果你想对某人对过去某事的意见表示同意，你可以说I thought so too. 我也这样认为。
